Thank you for your notification regarding the reunion in October this year. Having looked at the website, I know that you have done extensive planning for a weekend of fun for all.
As much as I would like to celebrate with you -- October 28 just happens to be my birthday -- European travel plans will interfere with my joining you. Hopefully, you will understand.
